MORINGA: GOD'S MIRACLE PLANT

About a month and a half ago, a friend contacted me to tell me that he wanted to meet with me concerning a health product he was involved with. When he told me what it was, I did my research to be up on it. When I got to his pad, he gave me a sample of this brownish-green power from the leaves of the tree known as MORINGA. I took a spoon and sampled about a third of a teaspoon of it. I didn't know what to expect, but I became exhilarated within minutes. I could breathe deeply and I felt alert and energetic.

The Moringa tree originates from the southern foothills of the Himalayas in northwestern India. It is now cultivated in Africa, Central and South America, Sri Lanka, India, Mexico, Malaysia, Indonesia, and the Philippines. It's many health benefits could very well be the reason why not much is known about it; for it is used to help correct malnutrition and increase food security in many poverty-stricken countries all over the world, including those on the continent of Africa.[1] And healthy people are a threat to the giant pharmaceutical industries.

Here is some of the nutritional information of the Moringa Leaf that I discovered:

1.) It contains 3 times more Vitamin A than Carrots [2]
2.) 4 times More B1 than Pork
3.) 50 times more B2 than Sardines
4.) 50 times more B3 than Peanuts
5.) 6 times more Vitamin C than Oranges
6.) 4 times more Vitamin E than Corn Oil
7.) 4 times more Calcium than Milk [3]
8.) 30 times more Iron than Spinach [2]
9.) 6 times more Zinc than Almonds
10.) 3 times more Potassium than Bananas
11.) 5 times more Dietary Fiber than Common Vegetables
12.) 6 times more Amino Acid than Garlic
13.) 100 times more GABA than Brown Rice
14.) 2 times more Polyphenol than Red Wine
15.) 2 times more Protein than Cows Milk

The Moringa Leaf is also known to:

1.) Increase the Natural Defenses of the body
2.) Provide nourishment to the eyes and brain
3.) Promote metabolism
4.) Promote the cell structure of the body
5.) Promote natural Serum Cholesterol
6.) Lower the appearance of Wrinkles and Fine Lines
7.) Promote the normal functioning of the Liver and the Kidney
8.) Beautify the Skin
9.) Promote Energy
10.) Promote Proper Digestion
11.) Act as an antioxidant
12.) Take care of the Immune System of the body
13.) Promote a Healthy Circulatory System
14.) Act as an Anti-Inflammatory Agent
15.) Give a feeling of General Wellness
16.) Support the Normal Sugar Levels of the Body [4]

The culinary uses of the Moringa are quite diverse. In Africa and in Asia, the fruit of the Moringa tree are eaten while the leaves are treated as a vegetable in the Philippines, South India, and Africa. The Moringa pod is used in India in curries, sambars, kormas, and dals. In the Philippines, the leaves are also used to make nutritious soups. In Leyte, in order to entice the children to consume their vegetables, extracted Moringa juice is used with lemonsito juice to make ice candies and cold drinks.[1]

So whether you are an athlete, bodybuilder, or health enthusiast, the Moringa tree will definitely prove to be a benefit to you. With all of its nutritional value, I can now understand why I felt so great when I first tried it, and why it continues to stimulate my body to reach its optimum energy and health potential.
